This cat was hanging out by the back of our rental place. The kids loved him. They thought he was the Portuguese version of Grumpy Cat.
The evenings in Praia De Mira can be clear with hues of oranges, pinks and blues or they can foggy and damp. Romantic and airy. Dark and moody. I love them both.
Praia De Mira has a pretty awesome beach. It welcomes tons of tourists each summer from all over. It also hosts a number of activities as well. Surfing, beach volleyball and soccer.
We visited the Moinhos de Gavinhos again this year. This time during the day.
We visited Porto again this year. We walked to up the Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar and walked across the Dom Luís I Bridge. We then took a boat tour along the Douro River. It was a fun day.
It’s all about the fishing here. It attracts many of the tourists who visit. I am always amazed that no one gets injured.
I love the beach. I never grow tired of it. I always enjoy hanging around in the evening after everyone has left. Just to be there to hear the waves. And to photograph of course.
Just some photos that I have been taking here and there. I haven’t been taking as many as last year. I haven’t really tried my new lens except for the Beach Bums photo in the album.
