The Athabasca river has been super low these days. The weather was great today so we took a walk around.
What’s better than seeing one family of geese? Seeing two at the same time. These two families were trying to cross a busy road with lots of heavy trucks. I am hoping they changed their minds.
When you have nothing better to do you chase around a grouse in hopes of getting a photo of him. I think he was on to me.
My biggest pet peeve. People driving down to the Snye to see the northern lights and then leaving their headlights on. It wasn’t a spectacular night to see them but they were out.
The Northern Lights were out earlier tonight. Max, Earl and I headed out to have a look at them. It’s the first time I have seen pink in them and the second time photographing them.

We headed down to the Snye today. It was really hot and there were lots of people on the water. I don’t know who these guys are but they sure looked like they were having fun and certainly staying cool.
