This is the front of the Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar.
This was actually artwork outside the train station in Aveiro.

Spectacular views from the top by the monastery.
Couples have placed these love locks along the railing. All I could think was what a waste of a good lock. What happens if someone comes along and cuts them all off?

We visited Porto again this year.
We walked to up the Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar and walked across the Dom Luís I Bridge.
We then took a boat tour along the Douro River.
It was a fun day.
